Palest plaster pink remains effortlessly chic and even more so when paired with pea green in either a lively bold tone (sugar snap) or a gentler tone (mushy).
The iconic Farrow & Ball Setting Plaster is amazingly amenable to light and seems to work happily in any space, and so to the soothing tones of Edward Bulmer's Rose Tinted White, Jonquil and Cuisse de Nymphe Emue - all of which, in a genius way, come in percentage shades, so you can choose just the right level of subtle pink to suite your space. Join forces with another Edward Bulmer, his joy inducing Invisible Green, tto make a happy combination for any room in the house. Or from Little Greene the zingy Garden or more moody Brunswick are also great friends with palest pink.
For fabrics, the Palm Green and Madder Pink of Rapture & Wright's Moorish Maze are just brilliant for cushions, window seats and occasional chairs, and then the small print of Sophia Frances' Dimpsy is so pleasing. Or combine the pink and the green in one of Ottoline's Scallop fabric - I've got my eye on this for a new Roman blind for my daughter's room.
And what are we putting on the walls next to our plaster pink paint? It has to be Common Rooms Lucky Leaf - if wallpapers had an awards season this one would be cleaning up right now.
