HANDMADE IN EGYPT
Every placemat by Malaika is meticulously handcrafted by a small cooperative of Nubian craftswomen in Egypt. These classic Ottoman Placemats are adorned with a repeating flower motif inspired by antiquarian Ottoman samplers, and framed with a warm and colourful geometric pattern. Each placemat is lovingly crafted from natural Egyptian cotton and silk screen printed by hand.
